hello kitty never ended up being my favorite, though i still owe my childhood to her. hello kitty's paradise - pretty kitty is still in my house somewhere, collecting dust. i hope one day i can find it again to show it to you all.
some year, about 2007 maybe, i started spotting sanrio plushies in my local walmart. the ones that stuck out to me most, soon becoming my favorite sanrio characters to this day, were sugarminuet and other sugarbunnies plushies.
my favorite animals have always been bunnies, and i was taking ballet classes at the time, so i just HAD to have them. i begged my mom for primausa and balletusa. i still have them, somewhere, though i'm unsure where. tucked away in a closet, surely. they were my favorite stuffed animals in the world, i brought them with me everywhere, even following me to girl scout camp. i remember my mom sent balletusa to the camp through the mail, at the time i only had primausa. i was overjoyed, and she slept with me every night.
and, of course, i love my melody to bits. half of the things i own are my melody themed. a my melo pillbox, hand cream, lip cream, compact mirror, earrings, plush purse, cardigan, skirt... the list goes on. people are surprised to hear that she isn't my favorite sanrio character. i do prefer her when it comes to every day items and personal aesthetics, though. i just think it's different to the way i enjoy the sugarbunnies - they're like my childhood friends who have been there with me through everything, while my melody has accompanied me throughought my teenage and adult years. it doesn't mean i love her less, but she still isn't as dear to me as others.
kiki and lala, i would say, are tied with my melody. i love them dearly. i'm very happy to report that i got the wet n' wild collab makeup set. i use it all the time, and it was my first time getting a full set of anything! my sibling got it too, and we're both in love with it.
i don't have anything lts-themed aside from that, which saddens me a little bit, but it turns out that it's a little more difficult to find things for lts in the us than it is my melo... and it's even harder to find sugarbunnies! a sad life for mimi.
recently, i've taken a liking to cogimyun! her aesthetic is so cute and soft, it makes me want to start collecting... i might get a keychain or try to find cosmetics soon! i think her pet, ebifry, is also adorable. there's just something so precious about a fairy made of flour and her pet fried shrimp... i'm obsessed.
this is as much as i'll update this page for now, but i might use it to ramble more in the future!
